The Alice Hotel

We just did a huge road trip of the Southwest and this was, by far, the best hotel we stayed at. There were so many neat little touches. I especially loved the double shower heads. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. No one was weird about us being gay either. If I'm ever in Tucson again, I will be staying here!

If you are in Tucson for the gem show the location is perfect, however since you are so close to everything it also means you’re very close to the freeway and the noise is very audible. They provide earplugs. I personally didn’t mind the noise and preferred being close to my destination each morning. The rooms were clean, mattress was comfy and 4 pillows with two different fluffiness. New appliance, and even provided a steamer. Decent shower supplies, the brand was not marked on the bottles but at least they had soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There was free coffee, hot cocoa, and tea every day/night in the mornings they had pan dulces for free. The staff was really nice. The only thing is it’s a motel not a hotel. So the doors are on the outside but honestly I enjoyed it and will try and book for next year Tucson gem show when the pool is finished.

I love this hotel!! They have beautiful rooms and the bed is so comfy it's perfect for a getaway. I like the big size tv also and that they have two showerheads it's really nice . The body mirror is awesome too for selfies I also love that they have a complimentary blow dryer in the room I give this hotel 5 stars!! I highly recommend for anybody who doesn't want to spend a whole lot for a really nice spacious comfortable room

I arrived to the Alice Hotel and when I went to the front desk, the front desk clerk was visibly upset with how a customer had treated her. Even though she was upset, she remained professional and very helpful with me during my check in. We realized that I had accidentally booked for the next weekend and not that night. They promptly got me into a room for a great rate and were extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were super cute and comfortable. The only thing not ideal is the highway noise, but the motel provides earplugs in the room which was a nice surprise!

This hotel was new and our room was bright and simply decorated. The room was super clean with a frig, keurig, and hair dryers. We travel with our service dog and requested an extra sheet for the top of the bed. The sheet was immediately delivered to our room by the person who checked us in at the lobby. She was very friendly and accommodating and gave us advice on local restaurants within walking distance. The Alice Hotel is located right off of interstate 10 and was convenient with parking directly in front of rooms and additional parking on the side. There were doggy “poop” bags also provided near the parking lot at the side of the hotel. That was a nice touch.

I’m in Tucson for a trapshooting competition at Tucson Trap and skeet. I needed a place to sleep for the week that was quiet and convenient to that location…. I’ve been coming here for years and stayed at numerous motels in every price range.The Alice is BY FAR the best week long place I’ve stayed at! I love supporting a family business that doesn’t have to answer to corporate BS! The room I stayed in was immaculate with nicely decorated amenities. Seriously perfect for my needs! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I was honestly pleasantly surprised with this place. We went to another hotel in the area and were disgusted by it so we weren't expecting much since they were in the same price range. We were surprised to find very comfortable rooms that were spotless. The staff was warm and welcoming as well. The rooms aren't some fancy resort room, but they're incredibly comfortable with soft beds and great showers. There aren't microwaves in the rooms, however there is microwave access as well as laundry access and irons. I'll be excited to come back when the swim club is open.

2 March 2026 I stayed one night and was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was the cleanest budget hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are modern looking and laid out nicely with a generously size bathroom lots of thick absorbent towels. Loved the pillows. The Alice hits above its price point. The only con is the location next to the freeway noise in the early evening(freeway side of building) was a little excessive but tapered off and was reasonable the later it got. It did not keep me awake or or awaken me during the night. Many hotel/motels have much louder heating and air conditioning than the road noise. They did provide earplugs by the bed. I would stay again
